Job summary

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) invites applications for an entry-level pool of qualified applicants for anticipated part-time temporary instructional positions within the Corporate College. Instructors may develop customized training curricula and provide instruction for workforce development, industrial training, and international programs.

Essential functions include delivering instruction, developing curricula, and maintaining required documentation such as grades.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience relevant to subject needs.
• Demonstrated knowledge in at least one of: industrial maintenance, RCM, vibration analysis, fluid power, electrical, aviation maintenance, safety, instrumentation/electronic control systems, welding, heavy equipment operation, telecommunications, CNC, boiler systems, HVAC, ESL, building construction and repair.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum for a variety of educational projects including continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and international programs.
• Deliver instruction for the above projects and ensure quality learning outcomes.
• Complete documentation including grades and attendance as required by the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
