Job summary

AlphaGov, operating as Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov, delivers public-sector consulting and engages experts on a project basis. This remote-first role supports state and large public employer workforce succession and HR planning engagements with travel to client sites as needed.

You will lead or support workforce analytics, succession planning, and stakeholder workshops, aligning recommendations to civil-service constraints and public HR guidelines while contributing to proposals when allowed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on public-sector workforce planning, succession planning, or strategic HR planning delivery.
• Ability to lead or support workforce analytics, gap analysis, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites.

Responsibilities

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits - not speculative staffing banks.

This role is for public-sector workforce succession and HR planning consultants who can support active and upcoming state/agency WASP-type pursuits (for example NYS DOT Workforce and Succession Planning and similar state workforce planning engagements).

What you’ll do:
