At Wycliffe Bible Translators, we desire to see a day when every man, woman and child can encounter Jesus personally through Scripture in a language and format they clearly understand. Today, that vision is moving forward in powerful ways. Of the world’s roughly 7,400 spoken and signed languages, translation work is already underway in nearly 2,800. And while there are 514 known remaining languages still waiting for Bible translation to begin, each one represents an opportunity for you to serve with us as we see Scripture made available to all people!

As a Workforce Specialist, your contributions will play a pivotal role in elevating Global Workforce Services’ (GWS) readiness to respond to customers’ requests for assistance, information, guidance, and/or partnership related to GWS workforce services. Additionally, you’ll walk alongside supporting and resourcing staff through important employment touchpoints. • Act as a liaison between Wycliffe/GWS and staff, ensuring smooth and timely communication and prompt resolution to inquiries or support requests.
  • Collaborate on efforts and strategies that improve staff’s understanding, adoption and reflection of our values and policies.
  • Maintain and submit documentation, correspondence, files, records, and reports on inquiries, developments and resolutions accurately and in accordance with records management protocols.
  • Maintain working knowledge of HR best practices, employee handbook, policies and procedures. Conduct ongoing assessments to ensure alignment of efforts with protocols and expectations.
  • Hold HR professional licensure and/or certifications to contribute as a subject‑matter expert, and provide input and support in implementing HR best practices.
  • Facilitate training and orientations, prepare professional presentations and other documents, fostering a positive attitude toward organizational objectives, policies and HR practice and procedures.
