Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a workforce scheduling support role in Charlotte, NC. The position reports to the Workforce Supervisor and assists associates with FUNtime, UKG/Kronos, and App questions.

The role will also train to back up full-time park schedulers to ensure departments have a knowledgeable resource. The incumbent will schedule within FUNtime, adjust schedules as needed for staffing changes, compile staffing data, participate in management meetings, and deliver

Responsibilities

• Schedule duties within the FUNtime system and manage long term department schedules.
• Revise park schedules due to staffing changes or shortages.
• Compile open shift reports and staffing details for management.
• Attend meetings with management to address staffing needs and challenges.
• Provide high level guest service in person and over the phone.
• Keep the office area neat and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling duties within the FUNtime scheduling system, which includes managing and maintain long term schedules for various departments.
• Revise park schedules when required due to staffing changes, labor shortages, or other interruptions.
• Compile information, such as open shift reports, staffing details, or associate data.
• Attend meetings with management to address any staffing needs and challenges
• Deliver a high level of guest service for both internal and external guest in person and over the phone.
• Ensure office area is neat and organized at all times.
• Additional duties as outlined by the Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and tables (Pivot Tables a plus).
• Provides guest service according to Carowinds standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Carowinds Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Meets Carowinds attendance requirements as outlined in Carowinds attendance policies.
• Adheres to Carowinds Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
