Responsabilités

  • Deliver instructor-led workforce training programs for adult learners in business, leadership, management, professional development, technology, and workplace skills.
  • Facilitate courses in Management Fundamentals, Leadership, Workplace Communication, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Maintain current knowledge of business practices and trends; adjust content accordingly.

Instructors may be required to develop customized training curriculum and /or provide instruction for workforce development and industrial training clients.**Essential Functions*** Employee will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community.* Develop curriculum for a variety of educational projects including but not limited to continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects, as well as international programs.* Deliver instruction for a variety of educational projects including but not limited to continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects, as well as international programs.* Complete documentation including grades, etc., as required by the supervisor.* Other duties as assigned The Workforce Training Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, industry-focused training to adult learners, employers, and workforce development participants throughout the state of Texas. This part-time position provides instruction in business, management, leadership, project management, workplace communication, customer service, critical thinking, quality improvement, office technology, and other professional skills.The instructor will facilitate engaging, practical learning experiences designed to help participants develop skills that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Training may be delivered in person at employer or campus locations throughout Texas.The successful candidate will bring a combination of professional experience, instructional ability, and practical knowledge of today’s workplace. The position requires significant statewide travel and the ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the needs of diverse industries, organizations, and adult learners. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Deliver instructor-led workforce training programs for adult learners in business, leadership, management, professional development, technology, and workplace skills.* Facilitate courses in areas such as: Management Fundamentals, Leadership and Supervisory Skills, Workplace Communication, Professionalism in the Workplace, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Office Management, Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Internet and workplace technology.* Deliver both introductory and intermediate/advanced training based on participant skill levels and employer needs.* Facilitate interactive learning activities, discussions, demonstrations, simulations, group exercises, and hands-on activities.* Maintain current knowledge of business practices, leadership principles, project management methodologies, workplace technology, quality improvement practices, and emerging workforce trends.* Work with workforce development staff and employer partners to understand training objectives and customize instructional content when appropriate.* Provide a professional and engaging learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, critical thinking, and practical application.* Represent the institution professionally when delivering training at employer worksites, campuses, conferences, and other locations.* Travel extensively throughout Texas to provide on-site workforce training.* Maintain flexibility to accommodate varying training schedules, locations, and employer needs.* Perform other related duties as assigned.**Knowledge and Skills** The successful candidate should demonstrate knowledge and/or professional experience in several of the following areas:* Business operations and organizational functions* Management and supervision* Leadership development* Project management principles and methodologies* Team development and conflict resolution* Workplace communication* Customer service* Critical thinking and problem solving* Continuous improvement and quality management* Workforce development and adult learning* Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Professional workplace practices* Technology and digital workplace tools* Organizational planning and decision-making**Minimum Qualifications** * Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Project Management, Workforce Development, Education, Information Technology, or a related field **OR** an equivalent combination of education and directly related professional experience.* **Three (3) years of professional experience** in business, management, leadership, project management, workforce development, training, operations, technology, or a related field.* Demonstrated experience presenting, facilitating, training, teaching, or delivering professional development to adults.* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.* Ability to develop and deliver engaging instructional presentations and activities.* Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and practical manner.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple training assignments and priorities.* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.* Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the state of Texas.**Work Environment and Travel**This is a **part-time, statewide workforce training position**. The instructor may be required to travel extensively throughout Texas to deliver training at employer worksites, educational facilities, campuses, conference locations, and other designated training locations.Training schedules may vary based on employer and workforce development needs and may include daytime, evening, or occasional weekend assignments.The position requires the ability to:* Travel independently throughout Texas.* Transport and utilize instructional materials and equipment as needed.* Deliver training in a variety of workplace and classroom environments.* Stand, walk, present, and facilitate activities for extended periods.* Work effectively with participants from diverse professional, educational, and cultural backgrounds.* Adapt instructional delivery to different audiences, industries, and learning environments.
