Perdue Foods is seeking a Workforce Optimization Scheduler to design and manage labor schedules that align with production needs and equipment availability at our Salisbury, MD facility. The role collaborates with Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and HR to drive efficiency and balance staffing with demand.
The position requires 2-3+ years in manufacturing operations or scheduling, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and Excel modeling skills.

Optimize workforce planning and drive operational efficiency by ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. As a Workforce Optimization Scheduler, you will develop and manage labor schedules using advanced scheduling tools while aligning staffing with production needs, equipment availability, and operational flow. You will collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and HR teams to support workforce planning, monitor key performance indicators, and adjust staffing to meet changing demands. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and systems, and is passionate about improving efficiency and supporting high performing operations.
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

This position is located onsite at our facility in Salisbury, MD. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates to support a smooth and successful transition.
