Job summary

Empower in the United States is seeking a Senior Analyst Supplier Performance & Risk to support performance, compliance, and risk management of external suppliers. You will work with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure effective governance and consistent service delivery.

The role focuses on monitoring SLAs and KPIs, maintaining scorecards, and driving improvements.

Qualifications

The Senior Analyst Supplier Performance & Risk will support the performance, compliance, and risk management of suppliers supporting the company's External Workforce. This role will monitor supplier performance against established service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), contractual requirements, and governance standards; analyze performance and risk trends; resolve complex supplier issues; and recommend improvements to supplier performance, risk controls, and service delivery. The Senior Analyst will partner with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Security, suppliers, and business stakeholders to support effective supplier governance and consistent service delivery.

What you will do:
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance against established SLAs, KPIs, contractual commitments, and service expectations.
  • Maintain supplier scorecards, dashboards, and reporting used to evaluate supplier performance and identify trends.
  • Participate in and facilitate supplier business reviews, presenting performance findings, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify supplier performance issues, investigate contributing factors, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Track supplier corrective action plans and partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support timely resolution.
  • Apply supplier management best practices to recommend improvements to existing processes and service delivery.
  • Analyze risks associated with external workforce and third-party engagements, including tenure, co-employment, access, supplier performance, and regulatory considerations.
  • Evaluate risk indicators and trends and recommend appropriate mitigation actions within established governance frameworks.
  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders to resolve complex supplier and external workforce issues.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier activity for adherence to established policies and elevate significant or recurring issues as appropriate.
  • Support implementation and ongoing improvement of supplier and external workforce risk controls.
  • Monitor supplier adherence to contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Security, Procurement, and other stakeholders to address supplier compliance and governance matters.
  • Support established governance processes for external workforce engagements and third-party access.
  • Assist with reviews of system access and related controls for contractors, vendors, affiliated entities, regulators, and customer testers.
  • Identify process or control gaps and recommend improvements based on established policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop productive working relationships with external workforce suppliers and internal business partners.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for supplier performance and compliance matters within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Communicate performance expectations and work with suppliers to resolve complex performance or service issues.
  • Coordinate with Sourcing, Procurement, External Workforce Operations, and business stakeholders on supplier-related activities.
  • Explain supplier performance or risk concerns and influence stakeholders toward appropriate resolution.
  • Prepare and analyze reporting on supplier performance, risk indicators, compliance metrics, and service trends.
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve supplier quality, mitigate risk, and enhance service delivery.
  • Develop materials for supplier reviews and internal governance discussions.
  • Translate performance and risk data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Support management reporting and respond to ad hoc supplier performance and risk analysis requests.
  • Support accurate and timely identification of supplier performance and risk trends, resolution of supplier performance and compliance issues, improvement against established SLAs and KPIs, effective execution of governance and risk controls, useful performance and risk reporting, stakeholder collaboration, and practical process and service improvements.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience in supplier management, vendor management, procurement, third-party risk, external workforce operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with external labor, contingent workforce, staffing, or other third-party service providers.
  • Experience analyzing supplier performance using SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, or similar performance measures.
  • Experience identifying and resolving supplier performance, operational, compliance, or risk issues.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier performance management and external workforce practices.
  • Working knowledge of third-party risk, supplier governance, and compliance principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate multiple factors and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to identify trends and translate data into practical recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain challenging issues and influence internal and external stakeholders toward agreement.
  • Ability to work independently while operating within established policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex issues.

Base Salary Range

$79,400.00 - $112,175.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
