Job Description

FIT is looking for instructors who can teach remotely on UX Design. The User Experience Design Certificate Program is a distance-learning course designed for creative professionals seeking to advance their careers in UX design. The course covers UX workflow, research methodologies, ideation, wireframing, interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing to provide a comprehensive education that fosters career growth.

The ideal candidates will be able to teach:

  • Design Thinking
  • UX Workflow, Environment, and Research Methods
  • Competitive and Comparative Analysis
  • Empathy Interviews
  • Customer Journey Visualization
  • Creating Personas, Scenarios, Sitemaps, Wireframes, and Wireflows
  • Prototyping (Low and High Fidelity)
  • Usability Testing
  • Microinteractions and UX Design
  • UI Design Principles
  • UX Portfolio Preparation

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, communications, multimedia, or information technology.
  • Experience in technology and communication roles related to UX design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in relevant fields.
Physical and Mental Requirements

Mental: Read, comprehend, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason, analyze, write - all frequent.

Physical: Sit, stand, walk frequently; no specific requirements for bend, climb, pull, push, or lift.

Additional Information

Role is remote, based on course schedule. Pay rate: $100-$140/hour. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Successful background check required.
