Reporting to the Superintendent-Director, the Workforce & Industry Partnership Developer provides dedicated technical assistance and project support to Greater Lawrence Technical School (GLTS) administrators, CTE instructors, and cooperative education personnel. Serving as a bridge between external industry partners and internal school staff, this role works closely with educators to enhance employer engagement, assist with grant research, and expand work-based learning pipelines. A primary focus of this position is offering targeted support to advance high-need, high-growth program areas, including Robotics, IT, Aviation, Biotechnology, and Environmental Science.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
Valid Driver's License and access to reliable transportation for local and regional outreach meetings.
ABILITY, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to support existing teams and defer leadership to administrative and faculty leads.
Knowledge of or strong familiarity with technical growth sectors including Robotics, IT, Aviation, Biotech, and Environmental Science.
Familiarity with Massachusetts workforce entities (MassCEC, MLSC, MassTech, MassHire) and vocational-technical education structures.
Excellent organization, communication, CRM/digital dashboard tracking, and written reporting skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; for example, school supplies and books.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, such as reading handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
