Workforce Development Training Manager

CRG is partnered with an organization seeking a Workforce Development Training Manager to join their team. The role involves evaluating training needs, making recommendations, developing, implementing, and delivering training programs. Reporting to the CHRO, this position oversees strategies and initiatives to develop and enhance workforce skills, ensuring employees have the necessary knowledge to perform effectively and meet evolving business needs.

Location: Greater Charlotte, NC area (highly flexible hybrid schedule)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, development, implementation, and delivery of training programs.
  • Identify skill gaps, design curricula, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Conduct needs analyses to identify current and future skills gaps.
  • Assess employee performance and training requirements.
  • Collaborate with departments to align training with business goals.
  • Develop talent through identifying high-potential employees and creating career paths.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials.
  • Coordinate all company training, including safety, IT, HR, and operations.
  • Deliver training to leaders, supervisors, and staff.
  • Evaluate training impact via assessments, metrics, and feedback.
  • Manage training budget and control costs.
  • Update managers on policy changes through training sessions.
  • Analyze data to identify training needs and measure program success.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Training, Learning Design, or related field.
  • 7+ years in learning and development, adult learning principles, and instructional design.
