To assist job seekers, find meaningful employment and assist employers in hiring qualified applicants.
Matching job seeker's skills with employer's needs through job development, training, skill assessment, counseling services, interviewing, collaborating and networking. Attend local events to include: rapid hire events, resource fairs, school orientations, and any other community events to increase the job seeker traffic in the local AJC offices. Work with the business team to identify job vacancies and placement for the job seeker. Provide presentation and workshops for the job seeker.
High School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years' experience in customer service, administrative support, human resources, recruitment, placement, selection, compensation, benefits administration, labor relations, occupational analysis, processing personnel transactions, or eligibility determination in a public and/or social welfare program. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and all terms/conditions of that agreement apply and must be adhered to.
