Job summary

WGNSTAR in Boise, ID seeks an experienced EHS Training Specialist to develop and deliver safety, health, and environmental training. You will manage content, records, and collaborative materials to support compliant training programs.

Responsibilities include tracking completion and performance in Excel, producing reports, and maintaining document control. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and able to work onsite full-time with a detailed, organized approach.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel data tracking and analysis.
• Deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual Safety, Health, and Environmental training sessions.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation, procedures, workflows, and training materials.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain high accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity in training records.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage EHS training content, documentation, and training records.


• Deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual Safety, Health, and Environmental training sessions.


• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate, current, and consistent.


• Extract, analyze, and report on EHS training and documentation data.


• Maintain document control and version management processes for EHS materials.


• Track training completion, attendance, and performance metrics using Excel and other tracking tools.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong Excel skills in data tracking, organization, and analysis.


• Deliver effective training and presentations to diverse audiences in both classroom and virtual environments.


• Create and maintain clear technical documentation, procedures, workflows, and training materials.


• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Demonstrate strong organizational, time-management, and administrative skills.


• Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity.

Preferences:

• Working knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, policies, and compliance requirements.

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
