Job summary

KBR is seeking a Workforce & Community Partnerships Manager to lead workforce development and stakeholder engagement for a major capital project.

You will build partnerships with colleges, universities, trade schools, workforce boards, community organizations, elected officials and economic development groups to create sustainable talent pipelines and maximize local economic benefits while supporting staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Business, Community Development, Political Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in workforce development, community relations, government affairs, stakeholder engagement, external affairs, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting large capital projects and EPC/EPCM delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute workforce development strategies for project construction, commissioning, startup, and operations staffing.
• Build partnerships with colleges, universities, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, workforce boards, and community organizations to create sustainable talent pipelines.
• Maintain relationships with local communities, elected officials, economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, and public-sector stakeholders.
• Coordinate local hiring, workforce readiness, internship, apprenticeship, and recruitment initiatives that support project workforce goals.
• Monitor labor market trends and workforce availability; provide staffing risk/opportunity recommendations to leadership.
• Lead community outreach, educational partnerships, STEM initiatives, and programs that enhance engagement and project visibility.
