Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking candidates to join a Department focused on teamwork and collaboration to deliver services through the Job Center programs. The role involves outreach to job seekers and employers, coordinating with partners, and supporting unemployment services including RESEA and Trade Act.

Travel may be up to 10% within service counties; a valid Missouri driver’s license is required. Apprenticeship completion is a key objective and regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Beneficial education and/or work-related experience includes technical or professional experience in business, personnel or public administration or closely related area, including military service

Responsibilities

• Promote Job Center services and eligibility to customers
• Conduct regional outreach to locate job seekers and employers
• Coordinate with partners to provide comprehensive services to job seekers and employers
• Provide programmatically specific services such as: Trade Act, Unemployment Insurance, RESEA and other re-employment programs
• Accept and record job orders from employers
• Pre-screen applicants meeting the employer order specifications and refer to employers
• Assist job seekers in automated job searches
• Complete apprenticeship program
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance
• Travel up to 10% within assigned service counties; must have a valid Missouri Driver’s license
