Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Analyst Technical Support to manage onsite implementation of large automation projects across Europe. The role reports to the WITS Manager and is based in the United Kingdom, with remote work supporting European coverage.

Key duties include planning installations, diagnosing and repairing hardware/software, and escalating design or reliability issues to engineering. Travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of hardware engineering experience with automation systems.
• Experience in the diagnostics industry or a related field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and install complex automation systems across Europe.
• Provide diagnostic technical support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging hardware/electro/mechanical systems and software.
• Report design, reliability and maintenance issues to engineering teams.
• Escalate issues as needed and potentially develop and deliver technical training.

The Senior Analyst Technical Support is responsible for the onsite implementation of large automation projects.

This position reports to the WITS Manager and is part of the European WITS Team located in United Kingdom working remotely to cover European Region .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be responsible for planning and installation of Complex Automation Systems across Europe
• Provides technical support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
• Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
• Highest level of problem escalation. May be responsible for developing and conducting technical training for product lines.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on automation systems with proficiency in hardware design and CAD software.
• Proven experience in the diagnostics industry or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in hardware design, development, and integration with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

This position is Remote based and will require travel to work on customer sites and in other company locations. Ability to travel – 80 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations to include some potential travel across Europe

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to lift, move or carry equipment
