Job summary

Goodwill Industries in Miami seeks an experienced Workers’ Compensation Specialist to join our Safety & Risk Management team. You will manage all aspects of the workers’ compensation program, including claim reporting, case management, return-to-work coordination, regulatory compliance, and employee support.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, medical providers, and insurance partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor workers’ compensation claims to ensure timely reporting and resolution.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, TPAs, medical providers, and legal representatives.
  • Facilitate return-to-work and accommodation efforts for injured employees.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal workers’ compensation requirements.
  • Analyze claim trends and recommend loss prevention strategies.
  • Support employee safety initiatives and injury prevention programs.
  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and reporting.

About the Role

The Workers’ Compensation Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of Goodwill’s workers’ compensation program, including claim reporting, case management, return-to-work coordination, regulatory compliance, and employee support. This role works closely with injured employees, supervisors, medical providers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure timely and effective claim resolution.
