LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to hire a Workers' Compensation Paralegal to support attorneys handling claimant and defense-side matters. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing case files, preparing legal documents, and communicating with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years as a paralegal in workers' compensation law.
  • Solid understanding of state workers' compensation procedures and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case management from intake through resolution.
  • Draft and file petitions, medical records requests, and settlement agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with case management from intake through resolution
  • Draft and file legal documents including petitions, medical records requests, and settlement agreements
  • Coordinate hearings, depositions, and medical evaluations

  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and court personnel

Benefits:

Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable. Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.

Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year
