Job summary

McAngus Goudelock & Courie in Alexandria, VA, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Workers' Compensation team. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of workers' compensation defense experience and a portable book of business, with licenses in VA and DC (Maryland preferred).

You will handle discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation, while collaborating with paralegals and support staff in a fast-paced environment.

• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants

We are currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Workers' Compensation team in Alexandria. Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years of practice experience in workers' compensation defense and a portable book of business. Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia and DC. The annualized salary range for this position is $120,000-$220,000. Actual pay will be determined based on total and relevant experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses and a full benefits package.
