Worker's Compensation Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation law and defense law, with a focus on providing comprehensive legal representation to clients in claims management.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation claims and hearings.
- Advise clients on their rights and obligations under workers' compensation law.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
- Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring timely updates to clients.
- Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law or related fields.
- Strong understanding of defense law and claims management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
