Job summary

Hunterlex is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney for a hybrid role in California. The candidate will handle WC defense with strong advocacy, engage in research, strategy, hearings, and settlements, and maintain client relationships across multiple offices.

The position requires a JD with an active CA Bar license, proactive client focus, and adeptness with technology. Occasional travel and on-site engagements are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires Juris Doctor with active California State Bar membership.
• Experience in Workers' Compensation Defense required.
• Strong communication and technology aptitude.

You Are:

• Experience in Workers' Compensation Defense (Required)
• A Juris Doctor graduate with an active California State Bar membership.
• Proactive, client-focused, and adept at solving intricate legal challenges.
• A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a keen understanding of technology.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Utilize your tech skills for research, communication, and digital tasks.
• Travel to various work locations and engage with clients.
• Occasionally perform physical tasks, such as moving boxes or files (up to 20 pounds), for office needs.
