Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and NH State Bar admission.

• Experience taking and defending fact-witness and expert depositions, and responding to discovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings and trials to gain courtroom experience.
• Collaborate with clients, experts and fellow attorneys and provide regular client updates.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to bolster case strategies.

A Day in the Life of an Associate Attorney

As a civil litigation Associate Attorney at Morrison Mahoney LLP, your role is dynamic and engaging, offering a perfect mix of independent responsibilities and collaborative teamwork. • You should be a self-starter with strong advocacy skills. Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, along with the ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests, is crucial.
