SDI Staffing seeks an experienced Workers Comp Claims Supervisor for our client in the insurance sector, based in Irving, Texas. The role blends in-office work with a preferred hybrid arrangement; remote work may be possible if the supervisor resides outside Irving.

Responsibilities include staffing coordination, approving payments, and ensuring timely resolution of claimant concerns, with strong emphasis on client service and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience with cites, counties, and public municipalities.
• Texas Adjuster License is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; three+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge of coverage, statutory regulations, and medical terminology.
• Analytical and strong written/verbal communication skills.

• Monitors daily staffing needs and distributes caseloads among direct reports.
• Reviews and approves priority payments and signs checks as authorized.
• Responds to claimant and vendor concerns and facilitates timely resolution.
• Ensures staff follows client service instructions.
• Provides claims handling coverage during examiner absences and vacancies.
• Prepares and evaluates monthly client reports.
• Coordinates and supports internal and external audits.
• Conducts and documents internal and external educational sessions.
• Participates in client file reviews and addresses resulting action items.
• Partners with the corporate office and sales/service teams on RFPs and client issues.

Our client, a well-established organization in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced Workers Comp Claims Supervisor to join their team.

Candidates must reside in Irving, Texas!

HOURS: Full-Time DURATION: Direct Hire WORKPLACE: In office and hybrid is preferred. 100% remote work will be considered if Workers Compensation Supervisor resides outside of Irving, Texas.

Pay

$92,000 to $102,000 base salary depending on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred); three (3) or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical knowledge of coverage, statutory regulations, and medical terminology.
• Analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey technical details to claimants, clients, and staff.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels in the business environment.
• Ability to independently and effectively manage very complex claims.
• Proficient in Word and Excel (preferred).
