Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities required.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1-year claims handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of claims to evaluate compensability/liability.
• Establishes action plans based on case facts, best practices and resources.
• Plans and conducts investigations to confirm coverage and determine liability.
• Assesses policy coverage, notifies insured of issues, reserves adjustments as needed.
• Assesses damages and negotiates settlements within authority limits.
