Questpro Consultants LLC is seeking a Temporary Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant to support our WC claims team in the United States. The assignment runs through year-end with the possibility of extension, at a rate of $20/hour, paid weekly.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, with responsibilities including processing Medical Only claims, reviewing bills, and maintaining claim documentation.

Formación

• 2+ years of claims processing experience.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation procedures.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and medical billing.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Process Workers' Compensation Medical Only claims within a $3,500 payment authority.
• Review and approve medical bills and payments within assigned authority.
• Handle ongoing medical and indemnity payments on settled claims.
• Contact claimants, insureds, and medical providers to obtain information and verify claim details.
• Review medical records, update claim information, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Respond to routine questions from claimants, providers, and other parties.
• Identify claim issues or discrepancies and escalation to the Team Manager when needed.
• Assist with claim status reports, follow-ups, and general claims administration.
