Job summary

Protouch Staffing represents a client seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Workers' Compensation practice in North and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling plaintiff-side workers' comp cases and will manage matters from intake through resolution in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent injured workers in Workers' Compensation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage an active caseload independently while collaborating with the legal team.
• Conduct client consultations and maintain regular client communication.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and settlement documents.
• Attend mediations, hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Perform legal research and develop case strategies.
• Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience representing injured workers in North Carolina and South Carolina Workers' Compensation claims, be comfortable managing cases from intake through resolution, and have a strong commitment to client advocacy. Key Responsibilities

Minimum 2 Years Of Workers' Compensation Litigation Experience

• Experience representing injured workers (plaintiff-side) is strongly preferred.

Personal Injury Experience Is a Plus But Not Required

• Strong communication, negotiation, advocacy, and litigation skills.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
