Responsibilities

• Defend workers' compensation claims for benefits including medical, disability, death, and rehabilitation claims.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to make informed decisions and provide sound legal advice.
• Draft, review, and revise various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in pre-trial and trial matters, depositions, mediations and hearings.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney, preferably in the tech services industry.
• Proven experience in legal research, legal writing, depositions, and trial.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
