Job summary

McAngus Goudelock & Courie in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks attorneys to join our Workers' Compensation team. Hybrid work options will be considered after training/integration with the team.

Ideal candidates will have 1–5 years of practice experience with hands-on experience and direct client contact. We offer competitive compensation with monthly bonus opportunities, and candidates must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina, or have pending South Carolina bar exam results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

We are currently seeking attorneys to join our Workers' Compensation team in Myrtle Beach. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training/integration with the team.
