Pérez Law, PC is seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Applicant Attorney in Ontario, California. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases, represent clients in legal proceedings, and maintain compliance with California regulations. Applicants should have a Juris Doctor degree, admission to the California State Bar, and preferably, experience in workers' compensation law. The position requires strong legal research and writing skills, as well as excellent communication abilities. Benefits include competitive salary, health insurance, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Experience in workers' compensation law is preferred but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of California workers' compensation law and procedures is highly preferred.
• Strong case management skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Proficient in legal and case management software like MerusCase.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of their workers' compensation claims.
• Prepare and submit legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
• Oversee case management tasks.
• Review medical records and legal documentation.
• Maintain client contact and provide updates.
• Participate in settlement negotiations.
• Maintain compliance with firm policies and regulations.
