Job summary

Perez Law, PC is seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Applicant Attorney to join our team in California. You will manage a caseload, provide representation for injured workers, and advocate ethically and efficiently.

Ideal candidate has strong CA workers' comp knowledge, excellent research and writing skills, and can work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexible work from home options available.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• Experience in workers' compensation law preferred but not required; strong research and writing skills encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of workers' compensation claims, including hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlements.
• Prepare and submit legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, insurers, medical providers, and other parties to advocate for the client’s rights and secure favorable outcomes.
• Oversee case management tasks by case managers and legal assistants.
• Review and analyze medical records, legal documents, and reports to build strong cases and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain client contact and provide updates throughout the case lifecycle to build trust and satisfaction.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations when appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with firm policies, ethical standards, and California Workers' Compensation regulations.
