Job summary

PACS is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Specialist to manage all WC processes in line with Legal Risk Department practices. You will handle claims investigation, reporting, and coordination with insurers, physicians, and management.

The role requires travel up to 25% and offers flextime/remote options. A bachelor's degree is required, with strong communication and documentation skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Travel by auto or airline will be required 25% of the time.
• In the office, or remote position, flextime available to work from home.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workers’ compensation processes in accordance with policies.
• Investigate internal claims, report promptly to insurers, and triage cases.
• Serve as liaison between operations, physicians, and insurers.
• Maintain accurate electronic claim files and status reports.
• Monitor work restrictions and return-to-work plans with care teams.
