Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of workers' compensation claims administration or related experience.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• EMS or healthcare experience preferred.
• UKG experience preferred.
• CSCS/CWCA certification preferred.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license.
• Background check and drug screen must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Claims Intake & Case Management: manage end-to-end workers’ compensation claims process.
• Collect and maintain documentation related to on-the-job injuries and investigations.
• Proactive monitoring of open claims and updates within case files.
• Medical coordination with providers to ensure timely evaluation and treatment.
• Serve as primary contact for TPAs, legal counsel, and brokers.
• Internal communication with HR, scheduling, and injured team member within 24–48 hours.
• Facilitate claims reviews with operations, brokers, and attorneys; keep minutes.
• Coordinate light duty assignments and return-to-work initiatives.
• Present claim trends and risk management recommendations to leadership.
• Analyze workers' compensation and loss data to identify trends and risks.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for workers' compensation and risk programs.
• Perform root cause analyses of incidents and claims; identify corrective actions.
• Administer and track TTD, MMI, and PPD; coordinate with payroll for pay continuation.
• Collaborate on injuries with HR regarding FMLA, leave, ADA, and fitness-for-duty.
• Supports safety programs and regulatory reporting requirements.
