Job summary

DMOS is seeking a full-time Workers' Compensation Coordinator for our West Des Moines office. Hours are 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. This role supports external stakeholders, Nurse Case Managers, and adjusters to streamline care for injured workers.

Responsibilities include scheduling referrals, collecting claim details, verifying records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless patient care. 1–2 years of workers' comp experience preferred; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of workers' compensation, medical-legal matters, or civil referrals.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Workers' Compensation referrals from Nurse Case Managers, adjusters and employers.
• Obtain necessary stakeholder details including claim number, accepted condition, billing address, date of injury, and essential job duties.
• Verify all records, images, and documentation are requested and received from referring entities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of care for patients.
