Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (actuarial preferred).
• ACAS certification required; FCAS preferred.
• 8–10 years actuarial experience in Workers' Compensation.
• Pricing, reserving and portfolio management experience.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial analyses and provide strategic guidance for Workers' Compensation.
• Develop pricing analyses, rate indications, portfolio monitoring tools, and profitability assessments.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and executives to identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio results, loss trends, and underwriting performance; provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Claims leadership to evaluate claim trends and drivers.
• Support business planning, forecasting, and reinsurance evaluations for WC.
• Communicate analyses and recommendations to senior management clearly.
• Present findings in strategic meetings; educate partners on actuarial methods.
• Lead and mentor actuarial staff, promoting technical excellence.
