Brief Description
The primary focus of the Worker's Compensation Coordinator’s responsibility is to assist the field staff and profit centers with processing any Loss Control Services related tasks such as Workers’ Compensation claims in their entirety, Certificate of Insurance requests, assist field offices and profit centers in proper assignment of Workers’ Compensation codes. Consistent communication with the field offices, profit centers, insurance carriers, TPA, medical providers and the Loss Control team is mandatory. Logging accurate notes into the system for all interactions regarding each claim is critical. HIPAA, Medical Records, Workers’ Compensation claims, and general insurance knowledge is a plus.

Typical office environment. To successfully perform the duties of this job, the staff associate must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate light to medium weights of 10 – 50 pounds. Requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/ finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read and write the application information. The Collections Agent is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
