About the Team/Role

WEX is looking for an experienced Workday Technical Analyst with expertise in optimizing and maintaining the Workday system within the organization. This role is responsible for providing support, analysis, and guidance to ensure the effective utilization and functionality of the Workday platform.

This role demands a deep understanding of Workday functionalities, business processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The ideal candidate has a proven history of partnering with the respective HR partners to ensure there is alignment between requirements and the system.

How you'll make an impact:

• Work with stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements, then translate those into complete, system solutions.

• Maintain a holistic view of the system to understand cross-functional impacts to configurations, business processes, reporting, and integrations.

• Play a key role in the design, build, and testing of configurations, calculations, business processes, and reports.

• Troubleshoot system issues, develop enhancements, recommend process changes, identify new technology capabilities, and support system upgrades.

• Maintain awareness of current Workday trends and functionality by continuously increasing knowledge and expertise through classes (online or live), webinars, and conferences.

• Support critical system maintenance including Workday semi-annual releases and operational tasks within Workday.

• Perform other duties as required.

Experience you'll bring :

• Experience with Workday configuration, end-user support, and system administration.

• Proficiency in Workday modules such as HCM, Reporting, and loading of data via the appropriate system method (e.g. EIB).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to consistently provide accurate data.

• Possess a strong work ethic for working with and maintaining confidential information. Understand and be able to follow GDPR and Data Privacy Compliance requirements.
