Chewy is hiring a Solutions Manager to join our HR Systems & Solutions Team. You will support Workday configuration in the Payroll and Absence modules, collaborating with senior team members and multi-functional partners to enhance and improve the employee experience through technology.

This role blends hands-on system work with agile delivery, managing the Jira backlog and supporting configuration from discovery through testing and deployment. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Workday configuration experience in Payroll and Absence.
• Experience supporting Workday configuration and testing.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and Jira.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and collaborative approach to working with multi-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel ~10%

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Workday configuration expert for Payroll and Absence.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Own and manage roadmap and backlog; coordinate releases.
• Collaborate with HR, IT and other teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support end-to-end delivery from discovery to deployment.
• Document processes, specs, test cases, and user guides.
• Assist organizational transitions with training materials.
• Analyze processes to improve user experience and efficiency.
• Stay current on Workday features and assess relevance.
• Lead semiannual Workday release management.
• Learn from and share knowledge with team members.
