Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Technical Program Manager in the Delivery Optimization team within HR Systems & Solutions. You will manage HR programs, ensure timely delivery, govern processes, and serve as a central point for reporting to executives.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and product owners, lead cross-functional projects, and bring Workday roadmap to life across planning, development, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant and successful program management experience leading highly complex projects in HR space (Workday preferred).
• Proven track record in multi-team project delivery and support.
• PMP/Six Sigma Certification or similar credentials preferred.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, MS Project and PowerPoint.
• Extensive knowledge of Workday and HR technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-team and multi-phase projects from design through implementation with focus on security and scalability.
• Develop understanding of projects to gain insights into service delivery scope.
• Lead project planning process with statements, plans, success criteria, benefits and dependencies.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to close open items, risks and changes.
• Analyze performance vs plan and adjust to meet timelines.
• Maintain project documentation and produce reports/presentations for strategy.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate portfolio derailments.
• Ensure delivery meets customer expectations and drives future demand.
• Define simplified communication strategy and provide executive summaries.
