Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Workday Functional Analyst to join our team in Detroit, MI. You will configure and optimize Workday modules, translate SME requirements into scalable workflows, and collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT to ensure data integrity and effective system performance.

You will design integrations, build reports, and support lifecycle releases while maintaining thorough documentation and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, software, engineering, business or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Workday Functional Analyst or similar configuration role.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Financials).
• Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and workflows.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation.
• Support integrations design, testing, and deployment throughout the lifecycle.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and external vendors.
