Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Workday reporting specialist to design, develop, and optimize HCM reports. You will build matrix and composite reports, manage RaaS outputs, and ensure alignment with security standards across HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and Learning data.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate data accuracy, and troubleshoot discrepancies. Proficiency in Prism datasets, derived datasets, and advanced Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of Workday reporting experience.
• Expertise in Workday Report Writer and calculated fields.
• Hands-on Prism experience, including dataset creation and derived datasets.
• Expertise in data analysis and report development.
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Workday HCM reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports for data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure reports follow Workday security logic for data privacy and compliance.
• Develop reports across HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and Learning.
• Create and manage Prism datasets, including schemas, data types, and relationships.
• Design derived datasets by joining Prism data with native Workday data.
• Support business users by providing insights through data analysis and ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Requirements

• Expertise in data analysis and report development
• Solid understanding of Workday HCM
• Strong working knowledge of Workday security, data sources, and report optimization
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
