Job summary
The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking a Workday Platform & Governance Owner to act as the technical SME for the Workday ecosystem, supporting 10,000+ employees. This role includes tenant management, security administration, production change control, and cross-module configuration within a multi-tenant governance model.
Location involves three days per week at Guardian offices in New York, Holmdel, or Stanford with a salary range of $152,290–$250,195.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years HRIS experience.
- 5+ years advanced hands-on Workday configuration.
- Workday Pro Certifications required.
- Deep expertise across all major Workday modules.
- Strong Position Management and Job Management experience.
- Experience designing security architecture.
- Strong understanding of SOD and audit controls.
- Experience operating within a multi-tenant governance model.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Enterprise Technical SME across all Workday modules.
- Advise HRIT engineers on complex configuration design and new functionality.
- Mentor team on advanced configuration practices.
- Hands-on configuration of cross-domain business processes.
- Design and implement advanced security groups and domain policies.
- Configure complex eligibility rules and condition logic.
- Support integration troubleshooting and production change control.
- Oversee tenant management and governance, including migrations and sandboxes.
