Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Workday Payroll implementations across higher education clients. The role demands 8–10 years of Workday Payroll experience and strong client leadership.

You will manage the full implementation lifecycle from planning through post-go-live, collaborating with client teams to drive transformation initiatives. Ideal candidates have an HR transformation consulting background, excellent communication skills, and willingness to travel up

Qualifications

• Workday HCM certification - Payroll is required.
• Prior management consulting experience in HR transformation.
• 8–10 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• Leading large-scale clients, preferably in Higher Ed/University settings.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Workday Payroll implementation lifecycle (planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go-live, post-production support).
• Collaborate with Huron and client teams to deliver transformativ e HR solutions.
• Train and mentor Huron staff across project management and technical dimensions.
• Drive business process modification and testing approaches across multiple projects.

The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $156,000 - $222,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
