A leading company is seeking a Principal Consultant to bridge business and technical teams in Workday implementations. Responsibilities include guiding clients, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems, and mentoring junior consultants. This role requires substantial Workday experience and a Bachelor's degree, offering growth in a dynamic environment.
The Principal Consultant will “bridge the gap” between the business andtechnical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guideclients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation.
Responsibilities:
Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configurationdecisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’sunique business requirements at all stages of the project.
Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project,ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCMsolution.
Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping theclient, the project team and the Engagement Manager abreast of changesor progress related to the project.
Willingness to take a leadership position on a project, or as a Cognizantor Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
Display your hands-on expertise of the software, including iLoading clientdata, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuringbusiness processes and security.
Utilize your technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into dataconversion templates via iLoads.
Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providingsupport for shadow assignments.
Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to shareone’s skills and learnings with others within the organization.

Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
2+ years of Workday functional implementation experience required.
2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experiencerequired.
2-5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS softwarerequired.
Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping,testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multipledeadlines.
Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, orFinancials Management.
