Job summary

DMA is seeking a Workday Solutions Engineer to bridge our enterprise Workday platform with our proprietary tax software ecosystem. The role sits in the Architecture & Innovation team, focusing on API-driven integrations and platform-first design.

You will partner with various teams to deliver reliable, observable integrations, ensuring alignment with DMA’s platform strategy and AI/automation roadmap. A hands-on mid-level engineer mindset is ideal, with strong HR/finance platform fluency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
3–5 years in solutions or integration engineering or technical consulting.
Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP).
Strong understanding of REST API design and data formats (JSON/XML).
Experience with .NET/Azure-based systems preferred.
Familiarity with iPaaS or middleware (Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft, Boomi) preferred.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling preferred.
Workday certification in Integration/Studio or related track preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, SOAP/REST APIs, and Workday Extend.
Architect integration patterns between Workday and DMA’s .NET/PostgreSQL/Azure stack.
Develop and own integration documentation including data flow diagrams and ADRs.
Evaluate middleware and iPaaS tooling and recommend where appropriate.
Collaborate with Architecture, Software Development, and PMO to deliver integrations within SDLC and governance.
