Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a senior, hands-on integration engineer with deep Workday expertise to design, build, and troubleshoot API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise platforms.

The role focuses on Workday as the system of record, with Power Automate and other orchestration layers ensuring robust, observable integrations. A strong background in API patterns, data modeling, and security is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Workday integration experience.
• Strong expertise in: Workday REST APIs, Workday SOAP APIs and data model.
• Proven ability to construct API requests manually and troubleshoot failures.
• Deep understanding of integration patterns, security and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Workday integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Construct and troubleshoot XML payloads and API requests.
• Build integrations with deterministic execution, robust error handling and observability.
• Diagnose integration issues across systems by analyzing requests, responses and Workday state.
• Collaborate with engineering to support orchestration using Power Automate and API layers.
