Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday integration development experience, including HCM and Financial modules.
• Strong experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP).
• Experience with REST, XML, JSON and Java for integration development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, build, and implement robust Workday integration solutions to meet organizational and business requirements
• Analyze, design, develop, test, document, implement, train, and support complex business and enterprise software solutions
• Design, develop, and implement Workday solutions focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, and Procurement
• Configure and customize Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations to meet specific organizational needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including officers, directors, managers, and technical teams, to understand integration requirements and business needs
• Research and leverage emerging Workday technologies, releases, and new features to enhance integration capabilities
• Develop Workday integrations with third-party vendors and other state agencies
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality
• Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure the reliability and accuracy of reporting outputs
• Document integration requirements, technical specifications, workflows, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday solutions
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Web Services, and Core Connectors
• Support data migration, integration development, report building, and calculated fields related to Workday integrations

Position Summary: -

V Group is currently seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer for our client the State of Georgia’s State Accounting Office (SAO).

The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting Workday integrations, including integrations with third-party vendors and external agencies.

The role will support Workday solutions across HCM, Finance, and Procurement, with responsibilities including:

• Designing and developing scalable Workday integration solutions.
• Building and maintaining integrations with third-party vendors and state agencies.
• Testing, implementing, and supporting Workday integrations.
• Researching and implementing solutions aligned with emerging Workday technologies.
• Responding to evolving business requirements and operational changes.
• Supporting SAO’s broader ERP, accounting, financial reporting, payroll, and shared services environment.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Workday integrations development, with strong experience in HCM and Financial modules.

• 5+ years of experience with REST, Web Services standards, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java.
• 5+ years of experience developing integrations for both Workday HCM and Financials.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered.
