Huron is seeking a Workday HCM AMS Senior Consultant to join our growing Application Management Services team in the United States. You will support and optimize Workday HCM solutions for a diverse client portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor on Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Benefits.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Workday HCM in AMS/post-production, strong problem-solving, and proven client-facing experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven Workday HCM experience in AMS/post-production environments.
• Functional SME across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking and Absence.
• Post-production support including troubleshooting in a client-facing environment.
• 3+ years analyzing requirements, producing functional specs, supporting tests, and engaging HR/business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM configuration, org structures, staffing, security, and transactions.
• Ability to solve complex functional issues with minimal supervision.
• Experience in AMS/PPS/Managed Services and release management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR/Business/IS.
• No travel required unless requested by the client.

Huron is seeking a Workday HCM AMS Senior Consultant to join our growing Application Management Services (AMS) team. In this client-facing role, you will support and optimize Workday HCM solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients, serving as a trusted advisor and functional expert across Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Benefits. The ideal candidate is an independent problem solver with experience supporting Workday in a post-production or AMS environment. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, delivering configuration enhancements, supporting Workday releases, and helping clients maximize the value of their Workday investment. Success in this role requires strong functional expertise, excellent consulting skills, and the ability to effectively partner with both business and technical stakeholders.

Required

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Workday HCM, with hands-on ownership in a production or post-production (AMS) environment.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a functional subject matter expert across Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.
• Hands-on experience providing post-production support, including troubleshooting complex business process, security, data, and configuration issues in a client-facing environment.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing business requirements, producing functional specifications, supporting testing activities, troubleshooting production issues, and partnering directly with HR, benefits, compensation, payroll, and business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM configuration, including organizational structures, staffing models, business processes, security, worker lifecycle events, and employee transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex functional and operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver scalable solutions with minimal oversight.
• Experience supporting ongoing optimization, enhancements, release management activities, and issue resolution as part of an Application Managed Services (AMS), Post Production Support (PPS), or managed support model.
• Experience leading client-facing discussions, providing strategic guidance, and serving as a trusted advisor on HR business processes and Workday leading practices.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• No travel required, unless requested by the client.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Holds an active Workday Certification, with Workday HCM Certification strongly preferred.
• Additional Workday certifications in Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and/or Benefits preferred.
• Prior experience supporting Workday HCM in AMS, PPS, or Managed Services environments, including Tier 3 production support.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including hire-to-retire transactions, organizational management, compensation planning, benefits administration, and time-off management.
• Experience supporting medium to large-scale Workday HCM environments with complex organizational structures and global or multi-business-unit workforces.
• Strong knowledge of Workday release management, feature adoption, and impact analysis across HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence modules.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $110,000 - $140,000 (USD). The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $126,000 - $161,000 (USD). The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
