Job summary

Contechs is seeking a Workday HCM Specialist - Manufacturing to join our client’s team on a contract basis. The role sits at a manufacturing facility in Warsaw, Indiana or Troy, Michigan and focuses on leading configuration, testing, and go-live activities for Time Tracking, Absence, and Scheduling in Workday.

You will partner with Workday consultants and internal stakeholders across Manufacturing, Finance and Payroll to drive a weekly payroll transition for hourly workers, ensure data accuracy,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
• Experience with Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll and Scheduling in Workday.
• Experience supporting manufacturing hourly workforces and pay frequency changes.

Responsibilities

• Configure Time Tracking and Absence in Workday and test scenarios.
• Partner with Workday consultants to align a Pay Group for weekly payroll.
• Review and test new Workweek definitions and overtime calculations.
• Support go-live configuration, data conversion and post-launch support.
