Job summary

PEAK6 in Chicago seeks a skilled Workday System Specialist to join the People Tech team. You’ll configure, operate, and enhance Workday HCM across modules, with the freedom to solve across the full platform rather than a single lane.

You will design security, build reports with Workday Report Writer, support integrations (EIBs/APIs), and maintain documentation while collaborating with HR partners across multiple affiliates. Hybrid work up to two days remotely.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design scalable Workday solutions.
Evaluate and implement Workday features and configuration improvements.
Participate in semi-annual release testing and coordinate regression/UAT with admins.
Support Workday security groups and access permissions.
Design, build, and maintain Business Process configurations across HCM and related areas.
Create advanced reports using Workday Report Writer and calculated fields.
Support supervisory org structure and HRIS-related reorganizations across PEAK6 and affiliates.
Assist payroll/benefits with system changes and troubleshooting.
Maintain clear configuration and testing documentation.
