Workday Financials & Reporting Consultant

3 Month Contract

Full Time

Remote – United States

We are partnered with an organization seeking an experiencedWorkday Financials and Reporting Consultantto support their reporting needs and end to end testing of their Workday Financials implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday Financials, and the ability to design and deliver custom reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, and Prism Analytics.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process or configuration improvements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Support data integrations between Workday and other systems.
• Document solutions, business processes, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience withWorkday Financials, including hands-on configuration, testing and reporting.
• Proven expertise inWorkday Report Writer,Composite Reporting,Matrix Reports, and ideally,Prism Analytics.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Procurement, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Workday certifications (Financials, Reporting) are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
