Title: Workday Financial Conversion AnalystLocation: New York, NY (remote)Type: ContractOur client is seeking Workday Financial Conversion Analyst to work at the intersection of healthcare finance, oncology operations, and enterprise technology—ensuring seamless migration of general ledger, patient financial services, and research grant data into a new system infrastructure.Key Accountabilities:- Lead end-to-end financial data conversion from legacy systems to the new ERP and/or revenue cycle management platform (e.g., Epic Resolute, Oracle Cloud, Workday).
- Partner with oncology finance, grants administration, and clinical trial billing teams to ensure specialized financial data integrity across research, clinical, and philanthropic cost centers.
- Develop and execute data mapping strategies, ensuring alignment with GL structures, cost allocation models, and program-specific financial frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and enterprise integration teams to design ETL processes, validation rules, and reconciliation checkpoints.
- Perform test data loads, reconcile financial statements, and conduct audits to ensure post-conversion accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain robust documentation for mapping logic, exception handling, and conversion outcomes to support regulatory compliance and external audits.
- Serve as a trusted financial systems liaison across oncology, research, and hospital finance departments, driving stakeholder alignment and adoption readiness.
- Support training and go-live readiness activities for finance end-users and oncology program leaders.
Required Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Informatics, or a related field (with a Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial systems conversion, ideally in healthcare or hospital environments.
- Prior experience working with oncology service lines, research billing, or grant-funded program finance preferred.
- Expertise in financial data structures and conversions involving ERP platforms (e.g., Epic Resolute, Oracle, SAP, Workday).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial reconciliation tools.
- Proven success working with multi-disciplinary teams in high-stakes, time-sensitive implementations.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, 340B compliance, and clinical revenue cycle a strong plus.
- CPA or PMP certification a plus.
- Familiarity with Epic oncology modules, clinical trial management systems (CTMS), or NIH grant reporting is preferred.
- Experience in a magnet-recognized or NCI-designated cancer center environment is preferred.
